Raven Renewables has welcomed a newly appointed team member to help meet increasing demand for renewable energy solutions and support the company as it continues to expand its operations in the sector.
Parth Patel will be joining Business Development Managers Mark Gardiner and Mathew Gibson in his role as Junior Business Development Manager.
He will be responsible for identifying opportunities across London, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and Hampshire, helping organisations to reduce their energy costs, and cut carbon emissions.
The renewables arm of Raven Housing Trust works with housing developers, builders, affordable housing providers, commercial businesses, and charities as well as a host of public sector organisations to design and install renewable energy solutions.
The Surrey-based specialist recently completed a project to install 145 solar panels at Greenwich Court, the Greenwich Hospital sheltered housing scheme in Portsmouth, and will soon be fitting a further 104 solar panels at its Greenwich Place scheme in Saltash, near Plymouth.
Greenwich Hospital provides support to serving and former Royal Navy and Royal Marine personnel and their families.
In total, the two installations at the CESSAC managed facilities will save tenants more than £1.3 million in energy costs over the next 25 years and significantly reduce carbon emissions.
Parth will use the experience he gained in his previous role as Solar Project Engineer at Green Gain Energy Solutions in India to build on Raven Renewables’ growth in the sector.
