About the project
Sparta Homes Ltd, based in Slough, develop houses and flats for the rental market. Raven Renewables installed solar panels and heat pumps at two new-build properties in Maidenhead. Both installations were tied into the build schedule and completed at different times, to suit the client timeline.
The solar panels were connected to a remote monitoring system, enabling access to real-time data, providing information on how much electricity is being generated.
The scheme aimed to provide a more affordable and energy-efficient living environment for residents. By installing solar panels and heat pumps together, energy savings for residents were optimised, cutting the amount of electricity they had to buy, whilst reducing the carbon footprint of the properties.
Installing innovative technology such as this to harness sustainable energy sources makes a huge difference to the lives of the people who move into these homes, helping to reduce their household bills significantly.
Client feedback
Reg Pangali, Director of Sparta Homes, said: “We are really pleased to be working with Raven Renewables on this project to improve the energy efficiency of these new homes. With current energy prices so high, and set to increase again in April next year, our investment in renewable technologies will mean the new homeowners will have much lower energy bills.”
